Absolutely I would! Dempsey is a proven premiership goal scorer and attacking threat and has been for the past few seasons! Queresma had bags of potential but never lived up to it, his better spells were in the portugeuse and Turkish leagues and he's only a yr younger than Dempsey!

Don't get fooled but queresma's fancy step overs every now and again!!!

There's no comparison between the players!

Quaresma would be a bad signing. I'd rather have some one else, but if I had to pick between Quaresma and Dempsey I'd chose Dempsey.

Anyway, I heard that City are offering 20m for Agger and that they'll offer him 100.000 in wages. As far as I know, Agger said he's happy here and that he'll never go to our rivals, but if we do sell him, I'd rather we sold him to Barca.

Why can't we stay away from british players from midtableclubs?
Allen for me is just another in the line of Caroll, Henderson, Adam etc.
Is he better? Perhaps but the thing is you will always have to massivly overpay for such players.

Quaresma is a show pony.

I reckon we should forget all other targets and go all out for Dzeko. We likely couldnt afford his wages etc but he'd be lethal in a front three of borini, dzeko, suarez.

Our midfield doesnt need allen, our defence is settled and doesnt need tinkering - lets focus on our main weakness and thats goals.

Joe allen is 21 and is ready made to carry out brendan rogers way of playing, for that you will have to pay a premium (unfortunately) I do not know why people cannot get their head round it!!
