If Johnson leaves City ( and his big wages and medals ) i will give a tenner to a charity of Roger Red Hats chosing. That is how confident i am that Johnson will not leave City

I am sure he is away with City as RVP will be with Arsenal unless something happens before he is due back.

That doesnt mean he is happy there.

I hope its true.

You may be right about him not coming but why would Lee make it up ?

It's not like he is welsh wizard is it.[/quote]

He may not make it up - but im certainly going to challenge him when he starts throwing insults at me like a 6 year old child

I stated ages ago that Johnson wouldnt leave because of the wages he gets and the trophies he would get

In response to that Lee went on a tirade of abuse at me calling me a c*nt etc - basically showing all the hallmarks of a thick chav who cant converse with human beings without swearing and insulting people.

Lee is incapable of posting without swearing at someone all because they dont share his opinion.

Why should you stop posting because one silly boy likes to be controversial. Its a forum where people air their views etc. If you have information on a Adam Johnson i know i would like to know about it.

Absolutely ridiculous

Here is information straight from the horses mouth.

And guess what - he actions mirror what he says

Johnson sets double target: Winger wants regular City role and England recall
Adam Johnson has declared his ambition to play more regularly for Manchester City and break back into the England squad.

Johnson was delighted to see City become Premier League champions last season but admits it was frustrating not to play a major role in their success.

He remains fully committed to the club, though, and is determined to impress during pre-season to force his way into Roberto Mancini's starting XI.

Speaking about the end of last season, the winger told City's official website: "It was pretty hard watching from the sidelines because obviously you want to be out there, helping the lads.

"It's tough, but you have to keep plugging away and just give your all. We won the title which was the main thing, but obviously you want to feel you've played your part, too.

"Things can change pretty quickly in football and this is a new season and we all start with a clean slate once again. What I need to do is respond, try even harder and react positively.

"On a personal level, it was a disappointing end to the season for me because I wasn't playing for City and then I missed out on Euro 2012 which hurt me a lot, but the key is to bounce back and not dwell on things.

"I love everything about this club - the lads, the people around it and the supporters have always been brilliant towards me. I'm settled where I live so I just need to get out there and play - as a footballer, that's all I want to do."

Hodgson praise

Expanding on the disappointment he felt at missing out on a place in the England squad for Euro 2012, Johnson admitted that he was at least grateful to Roy Hodgson for the way he got in touch to break the news.

Johnson thinks his performances for City last season had merited a call-up, especially as he had been heavily involved in the qualifying campaign.

"I'll be quite honest and say I really think I should have been selected because I played five times in the qualifiers and scored two goals so I thought I'd proved my worth," he said.

"When I played for City last season I scored a few goals and made a few as well so it took me a while to accept not being able to represent my county at a major championship because the same thing happened at the World Cup two years ago.

"To be fair, Roy Hodgson has been brilliant with me and phoned me to say that he still wanted me to come to Norway and train before the Euros began.

"As far as I'm concerned, I start my bid for the 2014 World Cup from now."

Well today's rumors are quite interesting:

Liverpool want 20m for Carroll and Pardew already said that it's up to Mike Ashley and the LFC board (clearly Pardew wants him back).

Marca are reporting that we will close a 22m deal with Bilboa for Munian, it will be done in the next 48 hours (probably load of ***** from Marca)

i suppose the munian link has come about due to the fact that bilbao don't have a manager and their best players are always going to be linked away. unfortunately for them they'll come a time when they have to let the likes of munian, javi martinez and llorente go if the price is right.

munian is an outstanding player for 19. potentially better than silva in the future imo. can't see it in a million years though.

Munian looks a corker of a player. Against the Mancs he was playing like he had many more years experience under his belt. Can only turn into a great player
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Bielsa is still their manager.  He signed a new contract a few days after leaving the club.
