Is there anyone we can with the drive, determination, leadership qualities, good ball technique etc etc that Gerrard has, if so, who ?

IMO, we need more players like this in a good few positions, don't get me wrong, some of the players we have are doing well, but we need more players like i've mentioned above.

Also, i'd love to have some that can dribble past the opposition like McManaman or Barnes....in fact, I wish all our players could do this, then the opposition just wouldn't know what hit them.

Mate, Gerrard is one of the greatest players that have ever played in the history of football, so no, at the moment there isn't anyone else with the kind of qualities that this man has. It truly frightens me at times when I think that he'll have to retire sooner or later.

Anyway, about that Luk de Jong rumor, for 13 mill I think it's worth it.

its an interesting thought. Back in the summer I'd have snapped your hand off for Cahill and I never envisaged Agger and Skrtel would form a partnership as strong as they have. I wouldnt like that to be disrupted but is Carra ready to fill in here and there and will it stifle Coates' development? All need to be considered. Personally, if Carra said he doesn't want to be bit part and would rather leave I'd rather he said that now then Cahill would be an easy decision

I know, I know but this is the guy we are crying out for.

A dynasty can be built around him just like Barca have build one around Messi.

Not for me and if Coates is to get a chance doesn't seem right really.
We also have Wisdom and Kelly too.

We need a striker and an attacking midfielder more.
