I read this before you put the second comment up and was going to say it seems you've read it wrong

I wouldn't trust what they say, if he says yes everyone knows it would be a centre back we're chasing and the press would be all over it, it could simply be a desire to continue keeping things behind closed doors and give nothing away

I was thinking about the centre back situation and I'm going to suggest that Kenny trusts what we have and won't buy a new one, though personally I'd rather he did

going by all this keeping our business a secret, thats a load of bull, every signing we have made has been talked about for weeks before hand. you cant keep it a secret anymore

The spanish papers are reporting that we have been turned down in our bid to sign Higuain :angry:

That would be awesome if we could get him he's absolute class.

Wonder if there is any truth in that... would be HUGE statement of intent from our owners if they could pull that off.

Will depend on players going out. I can't see any more signings unless a couple at least are sold.

What's so special about Higuan? I'd rather we go for Forlan with his partnership with Suarez in mind...

Whats special about Higuain ?

Probably the 2nd best finisher behind Torres today... Messi and Ronaldo are on a different planet but this guy is as good as they come when it comes to finishing...

No chance of us getting him though... Madrid would never sell !

When it comes to transfers never believe anything "officially" said, especially while the window is open. I think we'll get at least cb and maybe a striker if n'gog is shipped.

Yeah dont ever listen to anybody when it comes to transfers. Just a few days ago Wenger was expecting "no one to leave".
