On Enrique, I think he'll be fine defensively aslong as whoever plays down the left infront of him is prepared to do their fair share of defensive duties. At Newcastle he had Guitierrez there who has never tracked back once in his entire career and often went walkabout. At least Downing might have some discipline and work back for the team, in the same way that Henderson or Dirk would do for our right back on the other side.

I've watched many Newcastle games and went to on half way across the states this summer because my bro's a fan.

Guitierrez never once tracked back. He just stood around all the time.  Even on offense he's no good at helping incorporate Enrique because he just does the same thing every time.

At the game I went to he was actually playing LB and he wasn't even tracking back much then.  He literally just stayed around the midfield area.

Enrique is a good player and a really good signing.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I was thinking the same thing..

Surely Comolli wouldn't leave us back-up-striker-less!

Would be thrilled if we got Cahill.  If we don't go after Dann we better go after Cahill tho.  I'd love if either came to be honest.

That would be crazy money for a player in the last year of his contract. + 5.5milion rated N'gog

Pacheco, Suso, Amoo, Ngoo

I could live with them as fourth strikers in a team bursting at the seams with attacking midfielders, especially if it meant we got a CB.

A new CB has got to be the priority, Cahill for cash + N'gog sounds good, but skysports are reporting that Bolton are offering 4 mill for N'gog and no mention of Cahill, so we'll see...

unless ther thinkin of kuyt as back up, and play henderson on the right, plus pacheco is still here is he not,,,,   dont think they would leave us short in any position, looking at what they have done so far.

Apparently when Arsenal sell Nasri and Fabregas they'll use part of the money for Dann or Samba.
