Disappointed to see we didn't get rid of more of the unwanted players. Counter productive holding out for a higher price when you have to continue paying their wages.

Given Shaq has tested positive for Covid making that 3 of our lads who have now got it there could be a chance that the derby doesn’t get played, please God it doesn’t happen but if more of our players start to come down with this thing over the next week or so Everton may turn around to the premier league and say we don’t fancy playing them.
Although the players themselves are young and super fit all clubs have middle aged and even elderly support staff, they have got to think about them.

The danger  is our lads away on international duty picking something up. Suddenly it seems crazy that they've all flown off - its a lesser risk to be with a different set of lads with differing levels of precautions being taken rather than at home with LFC? I think not. This only increases the likelihood of catching it.

These internationals should have been cancelled, there is no way that all these players travel and none get exposed to Covid. At least at their clubs they are able to control things better to stay in their quarantine bubble.

This idea that Butland is available for 5M. Not a bad deal I reckon, if we can do it. I'm not blaming Adrian for the thrashing by Villa, not for all goals anyway, but I think he unsettles the back four.

Plus, I thought Adrian wanted to return to Spain in the last transfer window?

I don't see any point bringing Butland in. He's a poor keeper. Any improvement on Adrian would be marginal at best and even that is debatable.

Butland is just coming into his prime years as well. 5mil wouldnt be that bad either but how would he fare out not playing every week. It's hard for second keepers to stay sharp and match fit without having matches to play in.

Adrian will hopefully improve the more he plays. Everton are going to look to rough him up on set pieces so he needs to be prepared. Both teams keepers will be the weak points in that game.

Adrian is a time bomb waiting to blow up (he was at West Ham and he has been for us), not sure when but it will certainly blow up, just a matter of time, our players know it, their players know it, we definitely need to replace him. Too many schoolboy errors to ever be taken seriously as a proper keeper, there are many alternatives better than him, Butland could never be worse than Adrian and is worth a shout at 5million.

I’m sick of keepers changing the course of a match with stupid errors, we had enough of that with Mignolet, Karius and now Adrian. If our keeper is going to make schoolboy errors at least let him be young, the reason you have a 33 year old backup keeper is temperament.

Saw that. Wonder if the Bitters are in the same boat, if any of their squad is ruled out.

Butland would be a perfect signing in my opinion. Good keeper. Easily better than Adrian
