30 mil carrol? feck me, not worth that amount! 15 mil max for him. sell torres and buy sanchez from udinese. him and suarez would demolish any defences.

Yes it's obscene but he is good, he's young and he's British, if we have the money then we should go for it, should be a formidable front-line.

wouldn't surprise me if adam arrives today aswell. blackpool have already brought andy reid as a replacement.

Too much for Carroll but we need another new striker. Really wish we would look outside of England again though as the prices here are way too inflated (for example Inter just signed Pazzini from Sampdoria for about 10-12 million - the guy then came on at half time when Inter were 0-2 down and scored two plus got a penalty for the win).

Warnock fallen through - oh well I say. Let's just continue as we are with Aurelio and Johnson filling in for the remainder of the season and get someone good in the summer.

I'd take Young or N'Zogbia as both would be vast improvents of what we've already got (not saying they're my prefered choices though).

reports now that newcastle's press conference has been cancelled. maybe carroll deal will happen.

Carroll would be great but that's pretty dang expensive. I think the Adam deal will go through as Blackpool have signed Andy Reid and have finally put a more realistic price of 10 million on Adam.
