Vardy's running in behind and general ability to be a nuisance would be an asset but to be honest, I'd prefer a more well rounded striker. With Leicester, he gets space because teams won't sit deep against them. At us, he wouldn't get the space as teams would get numbers back and cut out space in behind and his game isn't well rounded enough to deal with that situation and he would struggle. He is best off as a big fish in a small pond

Bellamy WAS a F'kin head case. Remember the golf club lark with Riise?
Vardy is bad news. Psycho. No bleedin' way.

I wouldn't want that ***** rat anywhere near this club, the only Leicester player I'd take is Schmeichel.

Not even Mahrez?

He has the work rate mate. He's like a bulldog, somewhat similar to Bellamy. And his finishing ability is no slouch.

actually I dont think well-rounded strikers make for prolofic strikers, unkess they are one of the best in the world like Suarez and Messi. If you look at prolific strikers in our recent history, they are not well-rounded. Fowler, Owen, Torres. They are out and out strikers. They are specialist fiishers. You can't go and ask them to do pressing and expect the same productivity of goals...

Problem is, Vardy is nowhere the level of a Fowler, Owen or Torres. He won't get half the space with us that he gets with Leicester. Leicester setup the team to get the best out of him but that wouldn't happen if he came to us as he would be a small fish in a big pond with us. Not saying he isn't a good striker because he is but I can see a similar situation happening with him as we had with Benteke if he were to come to us.

If as it looks likely, we are in the CL, we need to be looking a level above

Vardy is the wrong side of 30 as well, at that age his playing powers will be deteriorating, it's just a question of how quickly they deteriorate.

Another one I hope we don't get, I don't want to see us end up as a retirement home for players who are just looking for a big club to park their @rses at as their skills deteriorate.

Cesc is quality but not a Klopp player. I've watched him this season a few times and he looks very lazy.

Good player Cesc but as mentioned, not suited to Klopp's game and is turning 30 tomorrow so doubt it very much. Report today that if Coutinho goes to Barca, we will look at Isco

Few bits linking us PSG Brazilian winger Lucas Moura.

Sounds good and weve a good crop of Brazilians but will wages be the sticking point let alone other suitors.

I'd rather we went for Mahrez myself mate, he's proven in this league and in today's papers he is saying that he wants to leave Leicester for a CL side.

Chelsea are apparently looking at Naby Keita. If they get involved, will be a difficult one to do. Don't know why, got a hunch this could be a frustrating summer window.

They already have a great player in his spot (Kante) but hey it's Chelsea if they can get another why not?

Mahrez is a quality player but he is exactly what we dont need, another attacking midfielder who likes it to feet with no pace, Id only go for him if we sold Couthino or Firmino. Lucas Lucas Mouira on the other hand is exactly the type of player we are desperately short of, a proper winger who stays wide is direct and has pace, we currently only have Mane and a couple of reserve kids who can do this, the squad is painfully short on wide players and lacks pace in the forward positions.
