Come on guys, dont be so unrealistic. Schweinstiger will never come and play in an English club (IMO). Plus, he will never leave Bayern, if his contract will end soon, he'll probably sign a new one. And if Bayern ever release Schweinstiger they'll try to make a profit, they will never let him go for free.

If City ever sell Johnson, they wont give him to us... maybu they will, for a lot more than he's worth. He just signed for City so he probably has a long contract which makes him even more expensive.

I cant see Ashley Young coming in Liverpool. IDK how much time has he left on his contract but I think that Villa will never sell him to us.

As for Afellay, Shaqiri and Turan, those transfers are possible. Turan has already said that he would love to play for LFC. There might be a bigger interes from other clubs for Afellay so it might be hard getting him. Shaqiri might be easier to sign.

And for other players that we're linked with - Vucinic and Forlan, I think that Forlan wont come to Liverpool but Vucinic is a high possibility.

maybe if he played in the right as meireles has done you wouldn't think the same. he is not better than the portuguese at all. he has another skills but not better ones.

Adam Johnson..I wish!
Everytime I've seen him he has had an absolute blinder. Equally impressive down the left or right. I don't think you could find a single fan that wouldn't love for us to sign him, hell even Rocky likes the guy!

Honestly, not a chance!
We are lucky to have him, top player top lad. You don't get rid of a Fernando Torres if you are lucky enough to have him in your side.

Liverpool have been boosted in their reported chase of Aston Villa winger Ashley Young.

The England international has emerged as a surprise Anfield target after failing to agree a new contract at Villa Park, with Roy Hodgson keen to strengthen his attacking options when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The former Fulham boss has been linked with a string of attacking players in the last week, with Mirko Vucinic, Mario Gomez and Carlton Cole all reportedly on the Liverpool radar.

Young's Villa Park contract expires in 2012, and despite promising negotiations at the start of the current campaign the player has failed to agree terms on a deal. The former Watford player stated that he'd wait until the end of the season to finalise a new deal, but interest from Spurs and the Liverpool could change that.

The Daily Star reports that Young is keen on a £14 million buyout clause in his contract, but Gerard Houllier values the player in the region of £20 to £22 million. If the two parties can't come to an agreement, then the Midlands side might be forced to sell in January.

Liverpool boss Hodgson has been promised funds to spend by new owners NESV, and an attacking partner for Fernando Torres is thought to be high on the agenda for the Merseyside club.

25-year-old Young would joun Steven Gerrard and Joe Cole as an attacking English trio at the club, and a cut-price deal for the player would almost certainly please the Liverpool faithful.

Skysports.com understands Liverpool are poised to sign Gillingham starlet Ashley Miller.

Miller has been playing in Gillingham's junior ranks since 2003 and he is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in England.

The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Everton have all been linked with the 16-year-old, but it appears Liverpool are set to win the race for his signature.

Liverpool's scouting team have moved quickly to arrange a deal to take the striker to Anfield with the club keen to tie up the move to ward off other suitors.

Miller is highly rated at Priestfield and the schoolboy has been called up to the first-team squad for Saturday's game at Northampton.

Miller is the latest young talent to come through the ranks at Gillingham with the club having sold 15-year-old Luke Freeman to Arsenal for a six-figure fee in 2008.

Thoughts?

I watched an interview last night with RH, and he didn't give any indication whatsoever that he will have ANY money in January for new signings. All the talk was about him, Sammy Lee and others "watching" or "tracking" players but when asked if we're likely to make a bid for anyone, he deffo shied away from it. I get the feeling there will be no money forthcoming in January.
If that's the case, I cannot see the likes of Torres staying...

Actually he has a fair point. What difference does it even make if he said yes? If he did it would put other teams on alert to bump up their prices. The last thing we need is paying inflated prices just because we have new owners.

Id rather he just say nothing and then get the players in come the transfer window.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
