also i dont think he'd want to go to turkey under any normal circumstances if they cam in for him... but it's frank Rijkaard that would be coaching him... so it might be quite an attractive proposal for him.

i'm not i read it on the bbc website , spurs can pay their wages and madrid want to sell to refinance some of the transfer fees they paid for kaka and ronaldo . Its just rumors though at the moment but they looked nailed on for heinze and hunteelar , they've been put off by van nisterooy's wage demands and robben i doubt will want to play for a club like spurs . Madrid are even willing to send their players on loan because of the staggering wages they are on , if thats true i think we should take robben and sniejder on loan to see how they adapt and how their injuries hold up

We are considered as one of their strong European rivals esp. after the beating we gave them last season. Loaning both robben and sneijder to us definitely not an option.

how about buying Robben for whatever it takes... im sure they'd be okay with that... and having signed Ronaldo and Kaka i doubt they'd be cautious about selling a player of theirs to a 'European rival' whatever that is...

I think they are willing to loan as i've read in the papers , it might be a gamble on sneijder but robben i've got no doubts about , but i don't think rafa will go for him as he's not a rafa type player

Yeah I agree - A bit too "maverick" for Rafa I reckon. Needs to be given freedom to roam and with Gerrard already comanding that role/respect Rafa may not consider.

That being said I would still take him (Robben) at Liverpool as I rate him.

Barcelona risk Rafa's wrath with move for Liverpool keeper Reina and Messi's plea for Mascherano to join him at the Nou Camp

Barcelona are set to push Rafa Benitez's patience to the limit by launching a bid for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

The European champions have already been met with resistance in a move for Anfield midfielder Javier Mascherano - but Lionel Messi has stepped up the pursuit by inviting his friend to the Nou Camp.
Benitez has insisted neither Mascherano nor Real Madrid target Xabi Alonso is for sale and now he faces a raid for is 26-year-old keeper.

Barcelona are moving for Reina after contract talks with Victor Valdes broke down yesterday. The treble winner has a year left on his contract and wants to be paid the same £150,000 a week that midfielder Xavi gets.

But the club and his agent Gines Carvajal suspended talks indefinitely with Barca not prepared to go above £100,000 a week.
The Catalans are working on a number of options but have identified Reina as the safe choice, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo. They believe he would cost at least £17million but could force a move if he declares a desire to return to Spain four years after leaving Villarreal.

Messi has also tried to coax his Argentina team-mate Mascherano into pushing for a move, despite Benitez insisting even £50m wouldn't tempt him to sell.

Pepe Reina... was thinking about this the other day and was thinking Barcelona should make a bid for him.... Personally i dont rate him anywhere near as highly as most others do but i still wouldnt even consider selling him unless we somehow manage to find a replacement whos good enough for much cheaper... dont think theres many out there ... most top goalkeepers would cost an arm and a leg, or play for top sides who wouldnt consider selling for cheap... Besides Green, maybe Frey from Fiorentina... cant say i see many other names out there who would be good enough but cant really say i notice goalkeeprs all that much...

17mill is decent money.. not one of the best 5 or maybe not even 10 goalkeepers in the world...
