Tuncay would be a welcome addition cracking little player, could come in handy against them 10 man defences that come to Anfield. Still think we need another world class finisher though.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Tuncay is good dont get me wrong but I think we should be aiming a bit higher...

I think the key signing that Rafa can make would be David Silva. We can then have the option of playing Kuyt up front if Torres is injured or whatever.

sorry but he just dont cut it for me and he gives us nothing we dont already have,  he has not had a good year and only made and got a few goals, lets not forget why his team got taken down was due to the fact they could not get goals, something he was ment to be good at getting and making.

Hes a pretty decent player lakes... Guy can get us somewre arnd 10 goals and 5 assists from bench.. Remeber we need a string squad as well as first 11. this is the era where even people like barry are bothered about rotation.. dont think tevez, silva et al would be happy doing that.. and this guy IMO >>>>>> vorocr@p on bench and ngog and nemeth need time to make cut in the next level

If that 6 million what was quoted was right as well that would be good value for money as well.

He's a very tidy little player, how the hell Boro got him in the first place
is what baffles me.

Aim a bit higher? Some people on here are suggesting we bring Voronin back. Sorry but Tuncay is a good player.

Sell Babel and buy in Tuncay. Forgetting a value difference just looking at skills and ability to score goals, is that a good swop?

Ezequiel Lavezzi is getting annoyed with Napoli for blocking a transfer and the Argentine's agent is rumoured to be talking to Manchester City and Liverpool. Antonio Cassano, meanwhile, could yet stay at Sampdoria despite having fought with Luigi Del Neri at Roma: Del Neri wants him to stay.

Liverpool target Kleber has insisted that reports linking him to Anfield are nonsense and that it is now getting "boring"! After only three days!

The Daily Mail claims that Chelsea will offer a ridiculous £17m for Liverpool target Glen Johnson. The Blues sold the right back to Portsmouth for £4m, having bought him from West Ham for £6m. Throw in signing-on fees and we are looking at over £21m for a full-back that they clearly should have kept all along, given that Paulo Ferreira, Juliano Belletti and Branislav Ivanovic have hardly set the world alight. And what about Jose Bosingwa? It's not like he's been poor this season

After being linked with little Fulham, Middlesbrough forward Tuncay has acted swiftly by saying he would like to join Liverpool. "Yes, I've heard something about that, but nothing official has arrived to me. Of course I would like to play for a big club," he said. The Reds are also keen on Portsmouth defender Sylvain Distin (The Times)

Well looking at it rationally, our most used sub last year was Babel. Can anyone really say that Tuncay would be any worse? Infact I'd say there is a big difference in how Babel could affect a game and how the Turkish Captain could affect the game.
