City watched him at the weekend and even Lille manager told the player apparently.

Can't see we can compete with them even if we are interested.
More likely we would get Mickey Hazard!

Maybe if City get Hazard, we'll try and get Adam Johnson off them. Would love to see him here, prefer Hazard of course though.

lets face it once city want a player even the likes of chelsea and united cant compete. if they are genuinely interested in him he`ll be at maine road next season on about £200,000+ a week, if he ends up at spurs or chelsea or somewhere that`ll be because city didnt want him.

If Lille want to keep Joe Cole then perhaps we have a pretty strong bargaining positioning.

Lille probably know that Hazard is likely to leave in the summer. By all accounts Joe Cole is doing pretty well in France and Lille may want to keep him. If that's the case then we have a strong negotiation point - i.e. Lille accept only an offer from LFC!!

Think you're dreaming mate. Lille may accept our offer BUT given the way things have been going at LFC would Hazard ? I doubt it.

Someone of his calibre isn't going to go to any team that isn't in the champions league, not unless they pay him silly wages and are showing promise of reaching the CL soon. We are not in a position to offer either.

they do go to clubs that win trophies though.

Lets hope that if we can win the FA Cup players see the signs of progress and that the league form is something that will be addressed next season.

sky sports are saying that he has confirmed that he will be playing in manchester next season but hasnt said if it will be for city or united.
i reckon it`s city, ferguson was on earlier making a general point to united fans saying that they cant compete with the ridiculous salaries and transfer fee`s that city are offering.
is he that good? cant say i`ve seen that much of him, i remember him playing against us a few years back but i dont think i`ve seen him play since.
