Superpound it was called.

I actually worked in that shop once when I went to help out when I was about 19 (about 12 years ago)I was based in the Bootle store but helped out in Belle Vale one day.The amount of thieving I saw in both stores was unbelievable and I'm not on about the customers.The staff use to rob the tills blind.

For example if someone buys £11 worth of stuff they rung £1 in leaving £10 over in the till.

The Bootle store closed years ago is The Belle Vale one still going?

Flintlocks - Friday night
Hollywoods - Saturday night
Squires - Sunday night cos it was close to home :D

Dunno about Rafas kids but all ill say is I spent a few years at a pricate establishment in my youth. Didn't do :censored: all for me mind you. :laugh:

God i forgot Squires  ha ha , we used to go there after being in the Belle vale labour club,

It was small but good for a late drink on a Sunday.

I remember this cos it always stuck in my mind, me and my mate were constantly trying to get in when we were 17, bouncer always said 'not tonight lads'
Once my asked when he was going to let us in and the bouncer said, 'on a Tuesday night, during a full moon after the summer equinox'
I had to expalin to me mate later that he was taking the p1ss out of us. :laugh:
