while it's probably obvious to most why he's gone to City his main reason was his England career. He feels he'll have a chance of making the world cup team if he puts in the games for a team as high up as Man city. cant fault the kid, Liverpool slammed the door in his face, he'd sooner sign for anyone than scumcester united so fair play, he's looking out for his self.

he's a technaphobe y'know. He gets his mum to work the DVD recorder for him and he can not work out how to use a mobile phone for anything other than a phone call or a simple 3 word text.

I think he may get regular football at City, Mancini seems to love playing with wingers and Johnson will be regarded as a younger and possibly better option than Petrov. If he does not get a regular action then this move could damage his career long term. He does look a great prospect like so i hope it works out for him as he could be England's left wing problem

this was during last summer transfer window so it may well of been there. When Boro got relagated Adam pleaded for Liverpool to save him from championship football. Adams reps went to Anfield to try sort a deal out, Adam even offered to stay on the same wage he was on at Boro, he didn't want signing fee's either. He even told friends/family that he'd sit on the Anfield bench for 12 months while he established his place.

man city have got a gem. but I doubt they'll treat him right, hopefully he'll stay there for 3 seasons then move to Anfield. :cool:
