Wba - Promoted today (near enough)

The Premiership - General Discussion

baring some miracle west brom will be back in the prem today, and they fully deserve to be. they've scored the most goals out of any side in the four english league divisions and play some of the best football.

well done to the baggies, be good to see them back in the prem, also gives us another six points straight off from next year  :D
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

well generally we give teams like this, the lower end teams, a chance by weakening our team so it will be interesting to watch

They only drew 1-1 coming back after the Saints took the lead! :D

I watched it with my brother in law,hes Southampton mad.He was praying for a win but was resigned to loosing so was happy with the point.
Its still looking grim for them at the bottom though, its all going down to the last game,a point may do them!
To see the agony on his face last night when WBA equalised,i felt sorry for him.
Cant imagine how it must feel to watch the team you love in danger of heading to League 1!

I think WBA are the only team capable of staying in the prem out of all the championship sides that can come up.

Hopefully next season, West Brom, Stoke and probably Hull will stay up in the Prem

And we can ditch Boro, Wigan and Bolton, since it seems that Reading, Derby and Fulham are all doomed this season.

baz saints won on the last game mate, they stayed up and poor old leicester went down and in the same game stoke came up to the prem. so we'll be travelling to the hawthorns and the britannia for sure next season.

with the option of the KC Stadium (hull) Ashton Gate (bristol city) Selhurst Park (crystal palace) or Vicarage Road (watford) from the playoffs. I'd prefer Bristol City as I've been singing their praises all year, if not then Hull. I'd like to see the littler sides come up, plus Vicarage Road is a shithole and Palace are managed by Warnock who is still going on about the injustice of Sheff Utd going down and how it was somehow Liverpool's fault.

Welcome (back in WBA's case) to the Premier League WBA and Stoke. I'm sure they - along with whichever third team will get promoted (hopefully not Crystal Palace with that moaning manager of theirs) - will all face a helluva battle to stay up next season. Best of luck to them though, as long as we get our 3 x 6 points of course :;):

Manhattan likes Le Tiss.

It's Paul Merson who irks me.

bristol city have just beaten crystal palace 2-1 in the first leg of the playoffs at Selhurst Park. Going back to Ashton Gate with a real advantage to making the playoff final.

I'd love to see Bristol City promoted to the prem, i've been singing their praises all season and they just faultered at the end of the league season but after being in the top 6 all season they deserve promotion IMO. Good luck to the Robins.
