What did i just say you muppet. Its may not be 12mIl if he flops. Which is why the deal is being broken down into an initial payment and then the rest based of performance. If he was a year or 2 older then the downpayment would be much more closer to 10Mil. All you soft headed fools on this site can moan all you want about 12mMIL being too much but the fact is that unless we start showing our stuff in the transfer market then we will never truley close the gap on the likes of Man U and Arsenal with player like Rooney and Walcott. If Rafa was seriuous about us closing the gap on those teams then hed better tart buying some talanted players. Fair play for getting Agger and Kromkamp but thats not enough. Its a shame to say that we can never compete in the market with the big guns.

Support one of your local teams then lad.
We can compete for players all we want, getting the right player for the right price is far more important. Crouch cost 7million and improved the team immensely. You don't have to spend stupid money to build a good side.
Mind you, what would us stupid fool's know? I mean, we all know that you MUST ALWAYS buy big to compete.
Even if it means paying close to 60 million for Carvalho, Essien and Drogba's level of players. I mean, its stupid to suggest that you could sign Hyypia, Alonso and Crouch for 20million. Obviously Chelsea's three players are so, so much better because they cost three times the amount.
Stupid fools us lot yeah Bav.

The kids are playing tonight in the fa youth cup if im not im not mistakes and im looking forward to see Besian Idrizaj play. Scored twice agaionst the manc in the last round. Whatever happens it should be concluded withing the next 24 hours.

Liverpool target Theo Walcott is reportedly undergoing a medical with a Premiership club.
The 16-year-old Southampton starlet was absent from training at Southampton today as he prepares to move on to his next employers.
Arsenal are favourites to land the player who's hoping for a dream transfer to Anfield. Although Liverpool have been sniffing around him, the Reds are not prepared to splash out a ridiculous amount of cash on the teenager.
Speaking exclusively to KOPTALK.COM this morning - and prior to any developments today - a Liverpool FC insider said: "Rick (Parry) has been speaking with Warwick Horton (the player's agent) this week.
"The club are willing to make another offer but they won't be dragged into a bidding war with other clubs.
"Both Rick and Rafa believe if Theo wants his dreams to come true that he will sit tight and reject the advances of Arsenal no matter how advanced the situation is.
"The Walcott family feel under pressure because of verbal agreements with Southampton which were made a long time ago but if the boy has dreams, people should let him live them."
It is claimed that Southampton are looking for a down payment of £5million with a further £7million to be paid to them depending on appearances and achievements.
Liverpool striker Peter Crouch is understood to be close to the Walcott family and he could hold the key to wrecking Arsenal's hopes.
Arsenal believe that they will land the player because of the vibes coming from Southampton's top brass. Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein believes Liverpool - not Chelsea - are the only threat, but the Gunners remain confident that they can push the transfer deal through.
Any delays are a good sign for Liverpool but the clock's ticking.
