The Premiership - General Discussion

4-4-2 magazine special on Theo Wallcott the Southampton forward that Wenger has ear marked as a possible longterm replacement for Henry was asked who he supported & he replied that his dad loved Liverpool & he followed. Also said that "when we won the cup(euro champs league) I shouted out all the windows & was jumping up & down all night, could'nt believe it". If we're as interested as reported then Wengers NEW HENRYtm might be heading further north than London. YNWA

I read that article myself actually, said that he was absolutely overjoyed when we won the Champions League last May.

they are both very highly rated prospects.
We've signed anderson who is a highly rated winger, but theo walcott can play on the wing, but is more a striker.  Has blistering pace too!

It would be good, give them a few of the reserve players like Mellor who they would want.

10 million for a 16 year old is too much, no matter how much of a prospect they may be. The only club that are stupid enough to pay that amount of money are Chelsea.

I can see us signing Wallcott rather than Chelsea, because with us he will have much more of a chance of breaking into the team. The fact that Wright-Phillips, a 20 million pound signing, is sitting on the bench in most games says it all.

Thats why Carson joined us and not Chelsea as well
