well to be fair he did work his socks off... and I believe the sub was tactical rather than because of his fitness...

very good player... he has a knack of getting to loose balls and scoring... his passing is not as good as Aquilani or Alonso though. He prefers short simple passes.

i'm not sure, in fact i think its just kenny being canny. mereiles is, for all intents and purposes, our playmaker at the moment and once we look good for the win i think kenny dispenses with him. he knows that wins are the most important thing for us at the moment, even at the expense of shutting up shop with 20 minutes to go. i think that if a game was still in the balance he would stay on the pitch, especially as he's the current goal machine as well.

this guy is a class act and full of energy.
he's the first one in the box everytime even getting beyond the strikers.was always a cm but doesent have the tackling abilities atm for the pl but kenny see's him in a more attacking role and is getting the best out of him.he is settling well and is proud to play for us.
£11.5mil will prove to be peanuts for him.
at least we have something to credit roy for.

why do you start and end your posts with full stops a line above and below?  :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Roy got appointed by West Brom, wish him all the best.
as roy was the guy who brought Raul in, i was wondering if he was still here, will raul still be playing on the right?
and we will never see his explosive form.

sickness apparently.

He's doing the business since Kenny came in and is a genuine threat from midfield, something we've missed and relied too much on in the past in one man in particular.

See above, Dalglish said in his post match interview that Raul was sick and it would have been unfair to expect him to continue. He still looked suprised and disappointed when he was brought off though so make of that what you will.

He was class today and up there with El Pistolero for MOTM in my eyes

forget rooney. any kid who wants to learn how to volley a ball needs to watch this guy's technique. he's as good a volleyer of the ball as i've seen in a long time.

Raul is a class act!  Great to have a midfielder that can score goals.  Its been far too long since we've had a midfielder that can chip in 10 odd goals a season.
