Mate, United have a lot of games like this one every season and they usually end up winning the league. Things will be more difficult for them this year I agree, but I'll be surprised if they finish the season below 3rd.

Young got booked for diving already - no retrospective action can be taken. For the penalty the defender did collide into him - but it started outside the box. The ref wi always give a foul and wanted confirmation that it was in the box from his Lino who amazingly didnt see it !!

So what's the point of the goal line system thing? Sunderland scored against Arsenal but the ref thought differently and said that there is no goal. The system showed that the ball crossed the line but the result didn't change.

the ref blew for an earlier foul mate, a bit like peter beardsley scoring in that F.A cup final against wimbledon for us, the ref cancelled the goal and gave us a free kick instead. thanks a lot.  :(

The Bitterz have done us a favour by beating Chelsea ,even a draw at Swansea would take us back to the top of the league .
3 points and we will be top of the league and 3 points clear. :buttrock  :buttrock

i think everton have got the makings of a really good side there, a midfield trio of barry, mccarthy and barkley (who`s the closest thing to a young steven gerrard that i`ve seen) backed up by a defence that not only has 2 england internationals (jagielka and baines) but the reliable distin as well.
up front they have options too, apart from lukaku they have jelavic, kone and mirallas (who caused chelsea trouble today with his pace).
their midfield has a really good balance to it with barry and mccarthy sitting which allows barkley the licence to get forward and attack. pains me to say it but that lad is going to be a star.

Good old bitters, always nice to see the Chavs go down, pity about the other results though.

I was hoping Sunderland might have got a managed a home draw against the gunners

Ah I see. Missed that part I guess.

So if it weren't a foul and the ref still doesn't see the ball go in but the system shows that it's a goal, will the ref change his decision? Is he allowed to or even obligated? Because as we all know, the ref's decision is final.

Anyway, good to see the bitters doing us a favor. Let's keep the momentum, use this situation and go 3 points clear on top!

the ref`s have got watches on that beep if the ball crosses the line, it`s just that he blew for the foul before sunderland `scored`.
both united and arsenal got a bit lucky yesterday.
