Not that we're too worried about them anymore, but still.

I would rather Everton took the last EL spot than ManU

I thought the same thing, but then again, the EL distraction that they'll have will be good for us. Couldn't care less if they even reach the final and win it. They might be better of if they only have the league to concentrate on and we're proof of that.

We pleay both Citeh and Chelsea at home ...win those and the other 8 I reckon we win on Goal difference dont we even if they win all their other games??

:no , as things stand TODAY, City have 11 games to play if they lose to us but win all their other games (10) they'd finish on 90 points, the most we can achieve is 89 points.

With games against Arsenal (away), United (away), us (away) and Everton (away) they are bound to drop points.

Still think it's the blue s**t from London to lose.

Chelsea winning 4-0... Arsenal one man down. This can go to 7-0, 8-0. And the ref sent off the wrong player lol!

What a f*cking disgrace these gunners are! One catastrophe after another!

Can't believe I played two Arsenal defenders plus the goalie in my fantasy team.

Credit where it's due, Tottenham played a good game today and managed to turn it around. I probably wouldn't be saying this if they were still a threat for us but I enjoyed watching that game.

We need the red mancs to do us a favor tonight.

They've been in good form recently. Apart from losing against us, they've won 4 games, scored 10 goals and kept 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games. Also, it's a derby so I expect them to up their game.

We just need a draw anyway. I hope they're good enough to do that on their own ground against their city rivals. Come on you mancs!

Got really mixed feelings about this game.

If Utd win it would really help our charge towards the title BUT I'm not convinced that it would still be enough for us to actually secure the title. Part of me wants to see Utd get spanked as I just love seeing them in the sh'it even though on this occasion it wouldn't help our cause.

Have to sit on the fence for this one.   :(

Either way I've gotta feeling City will take all the points.

City 1-0 up after 40 seconds and all over United in the opening stages. Looking like Chelsea v Arsenal all over again  :(

Woof, if you offered me the prospect of this happening, even now, I'd take it. We were bleating about improvement at the start of the season, this would be the biggest improvement possible without actually winning the title. Take this form and some new signings into next season and we would be in really good shape.

This is still Liverpool though, and we never do anything the easy way, but I have not had this kind of excitement before games since the 2005/2007 CL campaigns.

Awesome. March on Redmen!!

While I would preferred the MANCS to have taken points of CIteh, their loss did have some benefits

EPSN site
Frustrated Manchester United supporters took their anger out on Sir Alex Ferguson after Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Manchester United fans directed rants at Sir Alex Ferguson, according to reports.

After the match, angry fans yelled expletives at the former United manager as well as David Moyes, his handpicked successor, according to multiple reports.

Stadium stewards also had to be deployed to prevent supporters from tearing down a banner honouring Moyes as "The Chosen One."

Ferguson retired last season and chose Moyes to take over the club that he led to 13 Premier League titles in 26 season.

United are currently in seventh with 51 points, and an emphatic defeat to their cross-town rivals -- their 10th league loss of the season -- was apparently too much for some fans to take.

Tuesday's defeat ensured United will finish with their lowest point total of the Premier League era.

Stewards had to pull one fan away from Moyes' seat in the dug-out, according to The Telegraph.

Club officials have publicly stood by Moyes, though sources told ESPN FC last week that key Manchester United boardroom figures have considered the possibility of sacking Moyes for the first time.

Moyes took the blame for Tuesday's loss.

"I take responsibility," Moyes said. "I have to be the one who plays them, picks them and that is what it is. I don’t think tonight was in any way [down to] a lack of effort or lack of commitment from the players, in fact I thought they were fully there but in some areas we didn’t come up to scratch."
