The Premiership - General Discussion

Right Chelsea have to do us a favour now as well, for two reasons
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I don't now mate... right now I don't even mind the Mancs winning the title if it means that we will snatch 4th... For me it is always us and not what others do...

Wow you lot are optomistic! Even after that loss, city are 6 points ahead of us, and IF spurs do lose aswell, they'll be 5 points ahead with a game in hand.

Well I do mind, but right now we can hope for the best on both fronts because Chelsea have a chance to go four points ahead if they beat Spurs. If they don't win that and other results go as expected then we face the prospect of playing Chelsea at home knowing that we could be handing the Manc's no 19 if we win. What an awful thought.

We need Chelsea to win tonight to prevent that hellish scenario.

Looking at the fixtures, if we could just string 4 PL wins together, we still have a chance of 4th place. Obviously Chelsea are difficult but it is at Anfield. Even getting it down to the last day of the season it's not impossible that City and Spurs will bottle it.

It's possible that Spurs and City could both drop 9 points. I'm less confident about us winning our next 4 matches. It's unlikely that we'll get fourth but I haven't given up hope yet.

I agree mate, I was sickened when the mancs scored, just got to hope Chelsea are better than I think and can win as well.

I don't want to see Utd win the league, but I want to see us in the European Cup next season....

City still have to play Arsenal and Spurs too I think...

Come on Cheslea, do us a favour.

City will have to lose against Arsenal now, draw with Villa, and Villa will have to feck up with someone weaker. We'll have to beat Spurs with more goals on the table IF Spurs lose against Chelsea and United, and draw with City :D.This is so pathetic I dont want us to get 4th place like that, we dont deserve it.

we made our bed.. now we have to lie in it.

last week aeveryone was saying IF spurs lose to arsenal.. then it was IF spurs lose to Chelsea.... guess what spurs beat / will beat them both. Leave 4th place alone. that ship sailed a while ago.

we've got a fight on our hands for 6th.
