I still have faith Arsenal are due a good game and Hull are fighting to stay up ( they put 3 past them last time at their ground ) we win our remaining games and see what happens. Two ex United managers and both of them handed them the points, at least we had the decency to beat Blackburn when they won the League on the last day, not our fault United couldnt score against West Ham !

There was an inevitabilty about it as soon as it went to 1-1 that they'd get a late winner. Just the same as it was inevitable that they'd get a winner having pulled back to 2-2 against Villa and that they'd go on to win after getting that joke penalty against Spurs.

At the end of the day, it took a front four with a combined cost of £160m to get them out of the mire again.

Agreed.  There is a real problem in the EPL where sides don't believe they are entitled to give Utd a game.  So they take the lead, $hit themselves and just wait for Utd to start attacking, dropping further and further back.

I can't believe the run Utd have been on of late, consistently playing to an average standard and somehow getting results.  Hallmark of champions??  I don't buy that...just as Dave Whelan's comments about Fergie showed, about how he'd like to lick his ar$e on a daily basis, many teams in the Prem just expect Utd to win.

I am sick to my stomach after last night....had they lost or even drawn, then they would have been very twitchy going into the Arsenal game.

Fecking smug Manc fans beaming from ear to ear every where I turn.  I could vomit.

Yes, we can still win it, but I've more chance of copping off with Megan Fox down the local.

Watch the scum go and win the CL too, and make the misery complete.

i agree that they dropped back but that was due to the fact that in the second half they couldn't keep the ball well enough and got passed to death. if ronaldo and rooney had their shooting boots on the game would have been buried way before the end.

Feck me a combined COST of 160 million   :D I think we're in danger of getting carried away here surely? Ronaldo was 12 million, Rooney 25, Berbatov 30 and they haven't signed Tevez yet I don't think.

Might be slightly out on the numbers there mate.

Ok how about a combined worth then - Tevez fee will be about 30 million - Berbatov cost 30 mil , rooney 30 mil and ronaldo is going to go for way more than 30 mil . so 160 million isnt too far away.

Doesn't matter what Ronaldo is worth now, they didn't pay 30 mil for him.  Saying they needed 160 mil to win is saying that spent 160 mil on those players, which I don't think reaches that figure.

They still spent a :censored: load, but Ronaldo didn't go for more then 18 i think.

Yeah I think those who backed that last time have learnt their lesson Nanny. :D Just for the record I was against that.

Arsenal playing alright at the moment. Just hope they don't go a goal down first otherwise they will cave. But Arshavin is playing at least.

What a chance for Van Persie!!! He should have taken it down and then had a shot. Great pass from Arshavin. I can't understand how Arsenal are playing like they normally do now but in the CL they played :censored:.
