seriously the Mancs are going well OTT about Carra's challenge. Their fans are labeling it a 'vicious assault' and are calling for the FA to review the way they punish players - where the feck were these people a week ago after the Rooney elbow?

Read he's been banned from the United dressing room as well when he tried to apologise. This is just another reason to laugh at them tbh - media blackout, defending refs, attacking refs. They're a joke

Nani had his leg split open by one of our players. i feel more shame than anything more.

Lakes, his reaction was a joke - even Rooney was laughing. It was hard not to, he got up and p!ssed about for a bit before going down in a heap and crying again. I'll agree it was a bad challenge but his reaction was worse. It should have been red, course it should have, not many will dispute that. Rafael got away with a red card offence no more than a minute later - Gerrard walked for the same kind of challenge at OT earlier in the season.

Its more the reaction of the Mancs thats annoying me, did Rooney try to apologise for his elbow? no. Did we hide from the media? no. Did they recognise the need for retrospective punishment in light of Rooney's elbow where only a free kick was awarded? no

yet they're harping on now like they're been the victims. I hope he's out for a while, he's been pretty instrumental for them as of late, it can only slow them down

Why would you feel shame Lakes

Its was a bad tackle and Jamie is lucky not to have been sent off. Considering we were up 2-0 it was also a rather stupid thing to do.

However its a man's game where these prima donnas are getting paid absurd amount of wages to play and Nani's actions afterwards didnt help his situation.

If Jamie had come behind Nani and slashed his leg open when ball was fifty metres away then I would feel shamed about it

In this situation however, not nice to see any injury like that but Cest la guerre

yes Lakes, I will not dispute its nasty but the nature of the challenge itself wasn't the worst I've seen by a million miles. Players should be banned on the challenge, not the injury it induces. The Mancs over on redcafe were arguing that Carra should be banned for as long as Fani is out and that kind of punishment should be introduced. When I read stuff like that, it's really difficult to take this whole thing seriously

should he have walked - yes. I'm glad he didn't, its not like they get the rub of the green as well is it? sh!t happens.

When it's one of our lads on the receiving end I'll say the same. He should have walked. One things for sure, that injury had no bearing on the result, they were just plain old sh!t on the day

Eduardo's double break, Aaron Ramsey's double break, Cisse's, Hatem Ben Arfa are twice worse and twice painful than Nani's. Did they get up, then fell and started crying?
