The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby stapo1000 » Sun Aug 15, 2004 11:30 pm

I just finished watching it on bbc tonight and i'm not impressed. the presenter is a complete gobsh1te. he asks the pundits stupid questions and comes out with sh1t like saving the ball with your genitals and that gh watching liverpool under rb is like seeing his wife in bed with another man. the highlights of the games were sh1t too. NO F*CKING REPLAYS. Half the programm was about delia smith.IF i want that ****** i'll watch ready steady cook. Also, they had some clown on at the end claiming to be a comedian and wasn't funny at all. the only good thing was the insight that gh gave.

Your thoughts...
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

Tonights (Sunday) MOTD was dire in the extreme and the presenter (Adrian Childs) was ameteurish.

Strachan is much more entertaining when he is a manger and caught after a particularly contreversial defeat :D

Houllier was wooden and gave absolutly nothing away on either his departure or Michael's leaving of LFC.A great opportunity missed to get the lowdown on MO's contract talks over the last 12 months.

Last nights MOTD (Saturday ) was better with the A-team (Linekar, Hansen and Lawro) and a welcome return to the screens after ITV's flirtation with it.

adrian chiles is class... anyone who asks gerard houllier if watching liverpool is like watching someone else in bed with his wife has got to be good...

add to that the frenchman who was more coherent than the scotsman, and the latter's quick (but strange) wit, and it looks like being a great show.

:D  :D  :D

When they wheeled out that lame excuse for a comedian, the palace fan and he tried to be funny, that was embarrasing.

It was like listening to a joke telling competition at a primary school.

sundays MOTD was a disgrace, the presenter was worse than any of ITV's and needs to be replaced ASAP. I was very impressed with saturdays show buy sunday was just woeful

i didn't watch saturdays motd cos i watched the premiership on rte which was good i thought. the irish pundits tend to be the most controversial and funny.

Agreed Stapo, The premiership on RTE is much better. Eamonn Dumphy tells it like it is "Beckham is over rated" "Real Madrid are owned by a clown "  " Danny Mills is rubbish" "Gerard Houllier is a spoofer"

I don't know if anyone in the UK can get RTE but if you can it is well worth watching the premiership, they know their stuff and are tactically excellent, will point out what players are rubbish as opposed to "he'll be dissappointed with that" rubbish you hear on BBC and ITV.

Probably the reason all of your posts are ****** then, you listen to them idiots to much.

Beckham's not overated, you're clearly a jealous irishman.
