I'm not doubting Martin O'Neil's managing abilty. What I am doubting is his suitability to take over as Liverpool manager. My main reason is this. Look at the way he plays. Liverpool will forever be a long-ball team if he comes. Leicster, Celtic under O'Neill both played direct balls up to the target men ie Heskey and Hartson and while effective, it's horendously boring to watch. If O'Neill takes over, we will be stuck playing over the midfield's heads from Hyypia straight to Heskey and watching Liverpool will be no better than watching them now. Personally, I would love to see someone like Sam Allardyce take over although it is unlikely. Let's hope we can find someone who'll spend £120 million wisely, eh Mr. Houllier?
