No. he's not. The last season he's been poor. He would definately add but why get him when you could get Xavi or Messi who are both better players.
Waste of money for a team who are struggling to even stay in the premiership.

Maybe they have already tried Barca and have been told come back at the end of the season? I don't think you buy someone like Kaka and then play him alongside Vassell. I think this is just to signal their intentions rather than a one off purchase.

I think there will be quite a few clubs worried about losing their stars now........ or rubbing their hands in anticipation maybe.

No last year he wasn't poor, he was AC Milan's best player and scored over 18 goals in the Seria A. We didn't hear of him alot last season because AC Milan were poor and they had alot of ageing players that didn't help the team's cause.

He is world class.

City need a good defense and a solid midfield not more attacking players

Spot on mate.

To be honest though, I'm sure Hughes already sees that.  His problem is attracting good enough players with his side's league position.  If they sign Kaka then I can see the floodgates opening, and they will have a lot more success in chasing future targets, including defensive ones.

For this season though, they will continue to struggle, even with the addition of Kaka, because defensively they are a soft touch as you say.

If they pull this signing off, and I think they will, then wait until you see the team they start next season with.

From 365.....

AC Milan have confirmed they are considering a bid worth almost £110m for Kaka from Manchester City.

The club's own television station made the announcement on Thursday evening following meetings with City representatives on Tuesday.

According to Sky Italia, the offer under consideration would see Kaka move for €120million - approximately £107m.

City are believed to have offered Kaka a weekly wage of £500,000 as an incentive to leave Serie A for the Premier League.

Kaka's spokesman has responded to Milan's announcement by telling reporters that his client had now "been authorised" to open talks with City.
