Something needs to be done now to stop these disgusting figures even being offered never mind actually paid.

It's despicable that in the current world climate when people are losing their jobs left right and centre and struggling to feed and clothe their families, over paid pre-Madonna's are having bucketful's of ca$h shoved in their faces.

If this continues football WILL die!!

BBC is saying Man City are close to finalising the deal. Fecking hell what a signing that would be. To be fair he never ruled out the move totally, he only said if Milan wanted to sell then that was different and no club will turn down thatkind of cash considering what they will lose out from no CL football this season.

Come the summer I would expect City to buy all sorts of players. It's a shame we missed the boat with DIC as next season is going to be very tough unless we get some more quality as well.

Its interesting that players want to sign for a club that wont even be in the champs league next season. For them in the money that speaks.

I dunno, he has the class and he might suit the Premiership but the eyes of the whole world will be watching him, he will be under serious pressure to perform in EVERY game

Considering the sum and wages for real he will be analysed all over. I think citeh will deffinitely improve though with kaka feeding robiniho it could be dangerous.. time will tell

You can buy the 10 best attacking players in the world, put Buffon in goal and they will still be beat by Aston Villa or even Bolton.

City need a good defense and a solid midfield not more attacking players

You would be wetting yourself just the same as I would if you though he might play for Liverpool.

The sad thing is it just shows that in football money(obscene quantities) can buy almost anything and anyone. I just hope they don't cast envious eyes over our star players at the end of the season.
