These players are to blame, they go to Chelsea for millions are most are quite happy to get paid for nothing, with a footballers career being very short as it is.
By the time they leave Chelsea even if they havent played many games, they can still go on to other clubs and finish there days off, admittidly not as good as they used to be, but a damn sight richer than before.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Actually judge is right. I thought Carvalho is one of Jose's favourites but not apparently so.

Carvalho was quoted in the BBC Sports website that he had problems with Moureen even from the beginning of Moureen's reign at Porto, but he claimed that he knuckled down, performed well and earned the respect. If this is true, it shows that Moureen is driven by the desire to succeed and that personal differences will be set aside unless it blows up out of proportion and becomes beyond working together. That's why Moureen is how he appears in public - very determined and very focussed and sod everybody else because he wants to win all the time.

The thing with chelsea is that they always go on about their amazing team spirit and how they would do anything for their club blah, blah blah......Load of s.*i*e. Team spirit is always great when you are winning all the time, wait and see when they start dropping points, as they nearly did on sunday. I think we will hear a few more moaners come out of the woodwork.

I think the problems will start for Chelsea this year because all of their world class players need to be playing as it is a world cup year.  Last year being on the bench made little difference to these mercenaries, but now they all want to make sure they have a chance of being in Germany?

Mark my words, players will start getting edgy, as the World Cup gets nearer and they are not playing !!!

All good for the rest of the epl
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Ola! And what wonders would this dissention do to their team spirit and "help" towards togetherness and achieving their goals... Good luck Chelski! :D

How funny is this:

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hit back at Ricardo Carvalho following the defender's outburst at being omitted for the start of the new season.

Carvalho expressed his frustration at being left out of Chelsea's team in both the Community Shield and the opening Premiership fixture at Wigan.

Mourinho opted to select John Terry and William Gallas as his centre-back pairing - a decision that left Carvalho far from happy.

However, Mourinho has wasted little time in responding to the Portuguese international and insists he must be prepared to wait for his chance in The Blues' first XI given the wealth of quality in their squad.

"Ricardo Carvalho seems to have problems understanding things, maybe he should have an IQ test," Mourinho quipped to Record.

"I am not happy to have heard about this through the papers.

"Ricardo has worked with me for four years and I do not understand these quotes, he probably needs to see a doctor.

"I told the players this summer that they will need to have patience because we have a great squad and everyone needs an opportunity.

"Carvalho knows how I work, I think he is just temporarily angry but I will speak with him personally.

"We can't have this kind of thing at Chelsea."

:D :p

wow. that's a couple of pretty damning statements to make on one of his own players. i would bet my last penny rafa would never say such things.

carvalho is world class. been impressed with him since euro 2004. but he wont come to lfc by any accounts, cos chelsea would rather loan him out indefinitely and write off the 19m (money's never an issue) they paid for him than for him to move to a title challenger. so we can drop the dream.

it has also been on the news as recently as last week in this country (UK), plus some friends were in Portugal when mourinho was still boss there, and it did state that carvalho had probs with him then. so its not recent news, its old news that has resurfaced.

If he had issues with mourinho then he shouldn't have followed him to Chelsea. It makes no sense unless he was just after cash but if thats the case then why is he complaining about not playing.

The injuries that Chelski had last season helped narrow down Mourinho's choices. Now with a fully fit squad it will be difficult. I don't think that cracks are showing but there is some stress on the wall that is Chelski.
