Just don't know why Lucas is ahead of him normally.

Same here mate, when someone comes from an injury, we know he won't be perfect, but he needs games. And we haven't seen enough of him these months.

Keep saying that totally made up excuse and it will come true one day  :no

I wrote that in response to being told that Maureen never wanted Shevchenco. The comparison seemed relevent but you did not show the context.

He is playing in a much more advance position tonight, where he should be normally and he is playing well too. Take note Rafa. :D

I'm glad you said that because that is my point. If the best managers that have won lots of trophies make bad signings how can you expect Rafa to make no mistakes.

Aquilani has represented Italy at every level, he has obvious talent and if you cannot see that you know less about football than you think.

I would say Man of the Match goes to Benayoun.. but Aquilani came close. He bossed the first half completely and his goal made me jizz.

Maybe a few opinions of him will change now

My opinion of him didn't change with regards his suitability to English football, but only a fool would deny he was absolutely excellent tonight, and I ain't one of those. If he can play that way on a consistent basis, I'd better be getting the humble pie in the oven. Well done fella.

Scored a great goal today, he looked knackered late in the 2nd half so I understood why Rafa subbed him off. His passing again was really good but his only problem is that he needs to get stuck in more, he doesn't do that (as most of you say that), this is probably down to lack of confidence.

the only reason he doesnt get stuck in more is because he has to pace himself cos he aint matchfit. i can see exactly what hes doing. but ulot havent gotta a flaming clue.
