Says another owner from Hell:

West Ham make every player available for sale ... except Scott Parker

West Ham United's co-owner, David Sullivan, has warned that Scott Parker is the only player the club would not consider selling during a summer shake-up at Upton Park.

Sullivan, along with his boardroom colleague David Gold, is beginning preparations for a busy off-season in the transfer market after the club effectively ensured their Premier League survival with Saturday's 3-2 win over Wigan Athletic.

Parker scored the winner against Wigan and Sullivan immediately ruled the midfielder out of a potential summer sale.

"Other than Scott Parker, there is not a player we wouldn't sell if it was the right bid," said Sullivan. "Scott will not be sold and we will be buying more than we are selling. There will be no fire-selling and we will enhance the squad, not diminish it.

"We will have to shake up the pack because there is no point kidding ourselves otherwise we will be in the same position next year – the table doesn't lie."

But, while he expressed a wish to keep the captain, Matthew Upson, Sullivan made no such guarantees over the former Birmingham City defender – or, for that matter, his international colleagues Robert Green and Carlton Cole.

"We will make [Upson] a proposal for a new three-year contract," he said. "We would give him an offer of a comparable level to what he is on now, which he may or may not want to take.

"But Upson has a year to go so if we get a good offer we will take it

Rob Green, Upson and Carlton Cole would be a few decent swoops.

No, No and, ehhhh, No to all three....Green in particular has been poison in recent weeks, just when he needs to be on top form

Still a No. We don't have the luxury of buying squad players...

I think Upson is getting too old to be spending the type of money for him that they'd want.  I also don't see the point in Green when we have Reina, who (touch wood) never seems to pick up injuries.

For me, Carlton Cole is a good player who I'd take for less than 10 mil (they'd probably rate him as worth double that).  I also think Behrami and Tomkins are good players, but not quite good enough for us.

So basically unless they seriously drop their asking price for Cole I wouldn't have any of them.

Look at Shay Given -

Reina gets a serious knock and we are f*cked goalie wise. Not saying Green would be anywhere near Pepe's level. But he is a far better bet than Cavalieri in terms of both ability and Premiership experience.  Chelsea, Man Utd (not Arsenal imo) have able backups.

We have pi55ed and faffed about with so many keepers over the last few years, yet never really found a true standby worth the name. Of course...whoever is second-fiddle to Reina is going to have to be content on the bench...any top pro is going to want more than that. But you just never can tell when disaster strikes.

Mind you in saying that, there are more pressing areas of concern at the moment....

This says it all really.

Green is one of the candidates for the England shirt.  No way in hell is he going to come here and sit on the bench.

I don't rate Cavalieri from what I have seen, but ideally I'd have an experienced keeper on the bench to call on - someone in their mid thirties perhaps who isn't particularly upset at not playing every week... not bring a potential England candidate in to pose as an expensive piece of furniture.

I wouldnt mind Matty Upson, he's fairly solid. Bit rough around the edges but I'm sure Liverpool would sort that out. and there's absolutely no debating whether you'd have Cole or N'gog.

If we could get them for the right price I'd take them on board, English as well so when this rule kicks in we'd have a couple anyway

Stevie Heighway on the wing

Upson's 31 now mate... anything over and above a couple of million for him would be bad business imo.  West Ham would probably want about 10 mil.  No way.
