This is a nothing story, and was probably always on the cards after Chelseas exit. I am confident Torres would never play for another English club, he would go to Barca if anywhere but even theyvare pretty full at the moment. Besides he just signed a new contract so Ibimagine his price tag would be something silly like £130 Mil.

That's not to say he wouldn't leave outright though. We need to bring in better players around him, if we don't we then face a real possibility of him wanting to go and that's something we avoid never entertain even for a second. I hope Chris Purslow is earning his :censored:

money right now as Torres is one of the few bright sparks left at the club.

why would the kid want to leave the best club in the world to join that souless bunch of money grabbers? he's already said that he would never play for another club in this country. he loves the club and certainly isn't motivated by money.

he comes across as a really decent down to earth lad to me. he's always said that he will be loyal to the club for us taking a chance on him when a lot of other top european clubs were reluctant.
