why would the kid want to leave the best club in the world to join that souless bunch of money grabbers? he's already said that he would never play for another club in this country. he loves the club and certainly isn't motivated by money.

he comes across as a really decent down to earth lad to me. he's always said that he will be loyal to the club for us taking a chance on him when a lot of other top european clubs were reluctant.

load of nonsense.

Money always talks though....
With all the cr@p going on at LFC, it's no surprise other clubs are sniffing around....

Don't think he'll be a legend for me until he wins some trophies with us but boy am I glad to have him healthy..  If only he could maintain his health throughout a season he would easily win some individual awards.

Goal number 17 for him tonight for this season. He will get over 20 for sure if he stays injury free until the end of the season. A few at the weekend would be good. :;):

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I'd be absolutely heart broken if he went. Really don't want him to but I can see it coming this summer. Hopefully we're both wrong Lynds

Despite much being made of his injuries this season, he has now scored 17 goals which is what he managed ALL last season.

Fernando Torres

Liverpool : 67 goals in 111 apps, 8510 minutes (0.604 goals/app, 127 mins/goal)
07/08 : 33 goals in 46 apps, 3621 minutes (0.717 goals/app, 110 mins/goal)
08/09 : 17 goals in 38 apps, 2808 minutes (0.447 goals/app, 165 mins/goal)
09/10 : 17 goals in 27 apps, 2081 minutes (0.630 goals/app, 122 mins/goal)

This season Torres missed five in a row then seven in a row, last season he missed six in a row then seven in a row. He has already missed 17 games, same number he missed in all last season, BUT he has already scored more goals. He could be on for 20+ against this season, it would be quite handy if he got one or two on Sunday and sent their fans on their long trips home bawling their eyes out!

His body language has been really really awful lately.

Its down to frustration. This is a bloke who should be playing with other world class players. He doesnt want to be losing against poor teams and playing in the Europa league.

If things dont turn around next season I can honestly see him leaving.

me too. The lad clearly cares and is trying his best, but he can't win football games on his own.  :(

This summer will be a 'make of break' for a lot of our players ,sadly.
