why would the kid want to leave the best club in the world to join that souless bunch of money grabbers? he's already said that he would never play for another club in this country. he loves the club and certainly isn't motivated by money.

he comes across as a really decent down to earth lad to me. he's always said that he will be loyal to the club for us taking a chance on him when a lot of other top european clubs were reluctant.

Despite much being made of his injuries this season, he has now scored 17 goals which is what he managed ALL last season.

This season Torres missed five in a row then seven in a row, last season he missed six in a row then seven in a row. He has already missed 17 games, same number he missed in all last season, BUT he has already scored more goals. He could be on for 20+ against this season, it would be quite handy if he got one or two on Sunday and sent their fans on their long trips home bawling their eyes out!

His body language has been really really awful lately.

Its down to frustration. This is a bloke who should be playing with other world class players. He doesnt want to be losing against poor teams and playing in the Europa league.

me too. The lad clearly cares and is trying his best, but he can't win football games on his own. 

This summer will be a 'make of break' for a lot of our players ,sadly.
