Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby dawson99 » Thu Sep 23, 2004 10:38 am

Hey, just wanted to share you a snippet from the racing post, the thursday column by Bruce Willington about the man utd Liverpoool game.

...IT was depressing that he was jeered off the pitch by many United fans on monday.. If England perform badly at the same venue against Wlaes next month there will be some consolation - that some of the callous cretins who disrespected Englands best footballer will have stumped up good money to watch the three lionsand will have gone home severely dissapointed"

That column actually cheered me up, and i had to share it

We have hardly given Butt or Gary Neville an easy ride tho. LOL
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Good point mynameisred. When goldenballs was considered Englands best player it never stopped us from giving him stick from every angle. Its no suprise that Stevie was booed by them. We give as much as we get.
