Adam Johnson looks a tidy player for City....6mill - thats a snip. The lads running the thing and has had a very good debut so far.

6 mill.......

These are the sort of British players we should be after not the likes of Keane. Perfect age, ready to be part of the first team squad, talented with potential to get far better and not over priced. We overpaid for Johnson and got mugged by Spurs on Robbie Keane, an ageing player who hadn’t been able to play at the top level despite being in the game a long time. I was disappointed we didn’t make a move for Johnson in the summer when Boro got relegated especially considering we had been linked before he had even kicked a ball for Boro’s first team. 6 Mil would have been an excellent piece of business, we could of offered players in exchange, maybe even a couple on loan.

Rubbish.  He's from Sunderland mate, he's a Sunderland fan.

The sad thing is we probably couldn't manage 6 mil without selling first.

Didn't Keane score 20+ goals in his previous 3 seasons ? Wasn't/isn't he a lifelong LFC fan to boot ? (Probably not any more though....)
And how many midfielders is team supposed to have ?

United get lucky again, 1-1

Scholes scores, he meant to hit it with his right foot, it hit his left shin. FLUKE

Andy Gray breathes a sigh of relief.

2-1 United after Milan have been playing so well

What a cross from Valencia though, I wish we had players that could get balls into the box.

Milan are hurting me tonight, they've ripped Man U a new one on the pitch tonight and getting beat, w@nkers
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
