Law Abiding Citizen

Good idea for a film and all in all was played out very well but the ending let it down a little, still a solid 7/10 and i would recommend

Everyones Fine

De niro is back playing a father whos kids have all grown up and left the nest, his wife had died and he is on his one, he goes on a trip around America to visit them all. 6.5/10 for this one, De Niro was good in it and Kate Beckinsale is in it, so its worth the watch for her alone :D. Sad in parts but all in all a good film.

Mel Gibson  "Edge of Darkness" Police detectives' daughter is gunned down in front of him, he determined to find the killer, turns out the daughter worked for a big bad company that has massive government defence contracts, could they be linked to her death ?

Of course they could !!!, ho hum we've seen it all before and it's not improving with repetition. Expect dvd to hit the stores pretty quickly, certainly can't see too many trekking to the cinema to see it.

4/10 means it was boring but I watched through to the end anyway.

(the arsenal game had just finished I was prepared to watch anything to take my mind off it   :D )

Finally got round watching District 9. Great all round film. A lot of people will be comparing this to Avatar in terms of it being the big yeah Sci Fi and I have to say I think this is better than Avatar. The whole story line and evolution of characters is much better. Looking forward to the sequel too. 9/10

Didn't think much of Moon either. I liked the Hurtlocker, it opened my eyes more to what those specialised bomb squads go through. Not your run of the mill war film though.

You will like Inglorious :censored:,  top top film too.

btw Apocalypto is on again tonight for anyone who hasn't seen it before. BB2 I think at 10.

I thought Moon was really depressing mate when it all came to light and the wee smiley faces on GERTY freaked me out a bit! :D

Yeah I started watching that, but the copy I had was pretty shoddy. I saw the begining when the old bloke is tatooing that gang member, then the Ninja comes in and slices everyone up.

Must get round to watching that someday.
