You can't underestimate the impact the weather and conditions have on players in the UK. In would think that in warmer climates with more favourable under foot conditions players are far less likely to get injured than if they are playing/training on heavy pitches in freezing conditions.

However, that being said, we do seem to have more than our fair share of players getting soft tissue injuries so maybe there is something wrong with our facilities or training methods. Am I not right in thinking that a review/investigation was undertaken at Melwood and this was instigated by Rafa some months ago??
