The lack of football intelligence here amazes me.

Djibril Cisse was the best striker in La Championat, a league that is weak at this moment. Many you expected Djibril to be a carbon copy of Thierry Henry who would bang in two goals in every game.

I am sorry that I have to burst your bubble, but thats not how things work. The Premier League has better quality football than France, so obiviously you can't expect somebody who has never played in the EPL to get used to the gameplay in five games.

Well retard first and for most they played in the La Liga, which is similar to the EPL more than La Championat.

It is harder in my opinion for a striker to fit in with the squad then a defencive player. The striker depends on the midfield to score which has been problem with strikers over the years.

Example: Pires,Reyes.

Reyes struggled at Arsenal last year, he was horrible. It took him nine months to perform at his best. Look at him now.

Things can not happen over night, you have to be a bit more patient.

AB, it is time to stop taking it personal when someone does not disagree with your particular point of view.

The whole idea of a forum is to allow different points of view, not to impose yours on other people.

Liverpool fans are revered throughout the footballing world as being of excellent knowledge and understanding of the game, and this forum advertises the fact daily.

Its really not personal on here, and you will only alienate yourself further with these ridiculous threads.

And? Drogba was worth 24 million and he scored what two goals, you don't see Chelsea complaining about Drogba now do you.

Can someone tell me what Leon has said on this post to provoke such a vicious response? To an amused onlooker, Leon speaks a great deal of sense amidst juvenile rubbish.
AB- you really do need to grow up. and Gob.... a name change might help your views to be taken more seriously.

Leon is a hypocrite who can't tell the difference between his elbow and his hand.

This fool is telling me that I posted rubbish, rubbish? I posted rubbish? Who hell does he think he's talking to? If he knew anything about football at all he would know that a player can't settle into a league that he hasn't played before in five league games no matter what his price tag is.

Jose Antonio Reyes struggled with Arsenal last year, he was inconsistent and made no impact on the game. 9 months later and he's the top goal scorer of the Premiership, enormous pace and skill. It took him 9 months to settle in and show what he is made of.

And you expect Cisse to have 5 goals already? ******

So much for knowing you football eh Leon.

Next time somebody who decides to critisize a player who has never played in the Premiership before should rethink what they're saying.

I don't expect Cisse to be our top goal scorer within five games, it will take time for him to settle in as a new striker.

Ok, this is just ridiculous.

Leon: AB didn't post rubbish Cisse CAN'T be expected to be setting the premiership ablaze straight away. Him being compared to Henry is more accurate than a lot of people think, Henry had a terrible time when he first came to the premiership.

AB: You don't need to blow your top every time someone says something you don't agree with, saying that someone knows nothing about football and using swearing everysingle post only makes you look a lot worse.
