On a lighter note , wow mate 53 posts in 1 day ??

I think we might have him, could see Alonso going the other way do, however i doubt he will go to spurs as they dont have CL football and he really wants to stay with us.
There are potentially 2 targets if this falls through, one player who i certainly think will take all boxes.

INTER COULD TURN TO ALONSO
By Nadia Carminati
Inter Milan will turn to Liverpool's Xabi Alonso should they miss out on Frank Lampard, according to reports in Italy.
Alonso had been strongly linked with a summer move to Juventus before the Serie A giants ended their interest in the Spanish schemer.
The Reds had lined up Gareth Barry to replace Alonso, but have found agreeing a fee with Aston Villa a tough nut to crack.
Inter, under the guidance of new manager Jose Mourinho, are keen to bolster their midfield options and have been considering options.
The Nerazzurri have made no secret of their desire to bring Chelsea's Lampard, but so far no fee has been agreed for his services.
With Mourinho requesting midfield reinforcements and having failed in a move for Napoli's Marek Hamsik, Alonso is now on their radar.
Why not sell Alonso to Arsenal , according to some ,he's been sh!te for the past two years and he can't cut it in the prem anyway , it's to fast for him . He's better in europe where the pace of the game is slower . If he's at Liverpool in the league ,why will he be any different at Arsenal .
