as for being kicked off the park most weeks, at what point does a player think enough is enough, its not just the obvious stuff its players leaving there foot in after the tackle.

hopefully we`ll bring someone in to help out upfront.

If he had the op he would be out for the rest of the season.

thats based on some reports coming into the bbc news hub (been told to call it that now by my mate lol)

50 Mil my :censored:. He still has 5 years remaining on his contract, if anyone wants him he would cost £90Mil at a minimum.

Think we are being a little harsh here on Nando - He needs an operation - Rafa wont let him have it cos hes shitting himself about the job, I'd be peed off too if i needed an operation and the opposition were going medievil on my :censored:, he is a shadow at the minute, because hes not fit, wont be fit and isnt going to get better till he gets the bloody operation - maybe a ploy by rafa to stop him being sold :( (thats tongue in cheek before i get ambushed)

I should have said "starting at around"

Bav the club were the ones trying to get him to have the op, he was the one that took the flight to spain to see if he could get out of having it done, he knew that if he had it done he would be out. It was done to him that he did not have the op, not Rafa or the club.

He went to Spain to see a specialist, so i dont know where your getting your info from that he took flight to avoid having an op.

yes, he asked to see the specialist once the club told him to have the op. he saw the specialist that said he did not need the op and would be ok just with rest.

Still the best striker in the league and probably the World for me. Funny that when he gets a goal he doesn't whinge too much, and I wouldn't read anything into his "body language". Against combative and robust defenders like Wolves have, it's entirely legitimate for our lone striker to get into the ref, tell him he's getting the sh!t kicked out of him every time he gets the ball. The ref hears it, and sooner or later the ref reacts by giving a soft free-kick (which we did actually get a couple of times yesterday). It's all part and parcel and I wouldn't worry about it.

Basically Torres isn't fit and he's only playing becuase we ain't got anyone else. Simple as that really, feck all to do with body language for me.

I do wish he'd stay on his feet more, all he's doing by going down too easily is convincing refs he's not being fouled at all - just like Ronaldo used to, then got up and acted like a petulant little girl because he didn't get free-kicks..............................

As for the operation, I bet Spain won't be too happy if Torres plays the rest of this season and then goes off for an op that keeps him out of the World Cup. Maybe Rafa is going to wait until the transfer window opens, sell Mascherano and swoop for a striker with the money while Torres has his operation
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Fúck Spain. :D

The ones who pay Torres' wages are Liverpool, furthermore, the ones who are most interested in the well being of Torres are Liverpool, so what Spain may or may not say about it is irrelevant.

Too right :censored: Spain!!  :p

But I think if Rafa made Torres have the op at the end of the season he may begin to harbour ill feelings to Rafa.

I agree entirely, it is a no win situation for us unfortunately

Experiencing and/or winning WC 2010 will be good for Torres and Liverpool

I think we'll see a change in him once Aquilani finds his feet. Mascherano getting suspended could be the break weve been hoping for. That leaves room for Aquilani to create openings and forward play. This will bring yossi and Johnson forward more, therefore allowing Torres space to run into rather than standing like a spare pri'ck.
The only problem is if Rafa brings Kuyt back in and drops Aquilani.
Then were back to square one...
