Who do you think will win the champions League, a lot of contenders, would love to see Liverpool win it but can't see it happening this year.

My picks would be Milan, Madrid, maybe Barca as well. I am skeptical to whetehr Arsenal can win it as they never produce the goods in Europe.

what do you think?

I think Milan , but Arsenal could do it this time around .

fair call, Milan have probaly the best defense in Europe now with stam, Cafu, Nesta and Maldini, as well as quality midfielders and strikers like Shevchenko, Inzaghi and Crespo, AC will be a real threat.

Yeah , they slipped up BADLY last season , don't think they'll repeat it.
I've got Arsenal as 2nd favourite . Surely they too have learned from the mistakes made in past campaigns , their confidence is at an all time high and lets face it they have a team that is good enough to lift the trophy.
As for LFC, I'll be happy to see us get past the group stage but i'm not betting on it. After the intial euphoria of Rafa and the new players arrival it is obvious that there's still a lot of work to do .

sure are St mick, Larsson , Etoo, Deco, Giuly, Ronaldinho, Puyol etc. will definitley be a force this year.

incidentally we are 33/1 to win the champions league this season. arsenal are 6/1, chelsea 8/1 and manure 11/1. celtic are the rank outsiders at 150/1.

i just hope we get through the group stage and then anything after that is a bonus. the reason i say this is because our defence is nowhere near good enough imo for us advance to the serious latter stages.

if liverpool don't win i would like and english team not manc or chelsea that would be aresnal but if not milan not real madrid :angry:

maybe roma or juventus or maybe barcelona can upset the odds and win

Decent post there and sums our chances up well. Defensively we are nowhere near good enough and if we qualify from the group stages i think that will constitute a reasonable achievement.

Milan for me will pose the biggest challenge. Madrid wil be there or thereabouts and i expect Man u to do well although of course I hope i'm wrong :glare:

They looked good stmike but celtic came back at them at one point and it looked like the bhoys where gona win till 2nd goal went in. There fans are pathetic singin larsson songs all nite for him then he comes on assists one goal scores another what did they expect

Its like us singin for Owen if he came to play against us or the bluenoses singin for fat sh#te shrek would never happen. Divvys
