Im sorry Greenred what you have said is a joke.
Who cares what other sports value more.
We are in the best league and in this country you will earn more respect by winning that than a european trophy.
The champions league can be won by a team who isnt the best. AC Milan in Athens. Even Porto a few years back.
Id rather be classed as the best team in are league other than  best in Europe.

Bollox.

No other sport values a domestic title over a European title.
You are swallowing the Sky Sports mantra hook, line and sinker.
The European Cup pis.ses all over the premiership trophy.

FACT.

mate I wanted the league from 1971 when I really started following Liverpool. That's nearly 20 years before sky had been heard of, so I'm not swallowing anything from them. Truth is the league is the biggest and best competition.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Well I side with greenred....I've seen us win many league championships and I only want the 19th just to lay a :censored: ghost and then get back to collecting the 2nd big ears for keeps.

Something tells me that, for some journos the CL will be very important if Manchester wins it.

If Liverpool wins it instead, they'll stress more of how important is the champions league. I hope we don't have to check whether my suspicion is true, and yet again we reach the final Rafa-style, and win the 6th cup Scouse-style

Eh? that thieving thing doesn't reach abroad. No one relates Liverpool to thieving outside UK.

I meant Scouse-style, as in winning it often, as in putting all the other english clubs together and not reaching Liverpool's amount of European cups.  :p

42-6 at this time, that's 7 votes for Premiership for every 1 vote for Champions League. I'd be interested in where those who voted for Champions League come from, if there is a trend

It might be even more interesting to check the age of those who voted Champions League compared to those who voted premiership.

I reckon the older guys would pick European Cup over Sky Premiership trophy every day of the week.
