As a Barca fan (as my other team) i'd have to say they will win it now liverpool are out. Their defence may not be the strongest but their forward line of RONALDINHO - ETO'O - MESSI  looks so strong and if any of these are out they've got strong quality back-ups to fill in for them (maybe not ronaldinho).  The mixture of these three players and their flowing football makes me believe that it's gonna take a very determined defence to keep them from scoring goals.

I reckon I may have a punt on AC Milan.

TBF - the only reason they didn't win it last season is because we are f*cking brilliant!!!!! :D

Steven Gerrard has backed Arsenal to go all the way in the UEFA Champions League as his Liverpool side prepare to visit Highbury on Sunday.

Despite a contrasting week in the Champions League for the English duo, Gerrard - whose Reds side were eliminated by Benfica - has backed Arsenal, conquerors of Real Madrid, to progress past Juventus.

Friday's Champions League draw threw up an intriguing sub-plot as Juve's Patrick Vieira prepares for a Highbury return and Gerrard hopes The Gunners minds will have drifted from their Premiership clash.

"Arsenal have got a difficult game, Juve are a strong team but hopefully Arsenal can do England proud and go as far as possible," Gerrard told Sky Sports News.

I can't see Lyon doing it against the really top teams.

Barcelona are the most flamboyant, but my money would be on the mix of attacking flair and defensive efficiency of AC Milan.

Ac Milan for me. When it comes to the crunch ,they never flinch, and with Kaka in your team well... Ive seen Milan out muscle good Barcelona teams in the past.

I really hope Arsenal don't win it. We'll never here the end of it in the media, whereas our victory was "Oh, LFC do England proud, yadda, yadda, yadda...And now for other news..."

I bet you now, if Arsenal win it, it'll be all over hte papers for months.

They'll get more media a*se-licking than we did even if they go out in the semi's!

B*stard UK press.
