You mean like a Tarantino script?

exactly!!! And speaking of tarantino, it sounds too scripted, like every oh and erm is in the script, the actors seem to have no licence to improvise so it comes out a bit wooden

and my box is massive dude?!?!?!

the shows i love now (and have always loved) show this:

supernatural
NCIS
tru blood
Twin Peaks
Jericho (most underated show ever)
24
etc etc

i think its something you have to stick with.. and for us fans it has become something of a cult show. Much the same as the genius firefly and twin peaks, we band together and love the show even more..

Jericho was good. I enjoyed it. However, one of the reasons why it was so good, I feel, was that all the major plot developments had to be rushed because it was going down the tubes, so it made watching every episode exciting, but by the end the pace was just a little too dramatic. It's just a big shame it got panned, because it had the potential for some very interesting story developments.

I watched like 7-8 episodes. I feel like that that is a decent run in the first team. Jericho just pulled a Babel

Finally got to see Season 3 of Dexter and absolutely loved it!  The missus and I watched the whole thing in the space of a couple of nights it was so compelling.  Jimmy Smits was fantastically over the top!  :buttrock

Dexter has gone a bit stale tho dont you think? Is there any difference between any season? Dexter is weird, he daydreams and kills... Would just like to see a little variety... news of yerman off 3rd rock from the sun joining season 4 could be interesting buts not top of my tvo list by any means

I thought initially series 3 was rather tame but then by end enjoyed it more then series 2

Though I have to agree with Dawson to some extent as you got to know Dexter its take a bit of edge off the show.

I've just started watching Dexter S3 myself and this season seems to be focusing on the people around Dexter a lot more and how they seem to be affecting Dexters thinking.

Top show still and Michael C. Hall is outstanding as Dexter.

Season 3 was defo better than Season 2, IMO.  It hasn't gotten stale for me anyway--I love seeing him get up to his neck in trouble each season and then wriggle his way out by the end.  Agree with Rushie as well about the focus shifting more to the people around him.  He's still the calm, cold centre of it all but it's becoming more of a well-rounded ensemble.  With that said, I doubt anything will top Season 1, when it burst on to the scene in all of it's g(l)ory.  It was fresh, hip and unlike anything else going...which is an impossible formula to repeat season after season.
