Just seen an advert for a new program starting on CH5 in autumn called Flashforward - looks very good - from the writers of Batman Begins and Dark Knight

Bored to death a new show on I think HBO (could be showtime) looks like it has potential, hasn't aired any episodes yet, but it has Galifanakis, who is hilarious

Yeah well  I need that tenner that I save on downloads to help pay my private health insurance which in turn props up the hospital system. Which in turn look after all these smoking saddos who clog up the health system with their self administered poison :).

As for those poor artistic hollywood folk losing money well if it was good enough for Simpsons to fleece them its good enough for me :).

anyone seen Better off Ted. Quirky, and I don't think its too big, but is always good for a few laughs.  Better than most of those stupid family sit-coms that are all the exact same

Quality show!! It basically follows around Adam Glasser (aka Seymore Butts) in his day to day running of his porn business.

I never get how the feck he was some big porn industry mogul when he walks round wearing a fecking BUM BAG!!!!

Cousin Stevie (was it ????) was freakin' hilarious at times. Cracked me up when he was going round strip joints asking for squirter's. :wwww

Yeah Cousin Stevie haha. He actually has his own successful series - Cousin Stevies P*** Party.

Anyway fans of David Simon (The Corner, The Wire & Generation Kill) will be pleased to hear he is currently working on his next drama series - Treme.

It's based on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. I think there should be a few familiar faces from the Wire too.

I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes Joe, but it never really grabbed me. Like you say it had a few laughs but not enough to keep me watching.

I prefer Chuck which has a somewhat similar set up but more action and a better storyline.

Its not bad though mate, and I may go back to watch it when I can download the whole series, I prefer watching things when I want rather than once a week.

today is Labor Day in the States. For lots of people, its the last chance to go to the beach and the unofficial "end of summer"  Lots of people have big family picnics and Bar-B-Ques and the like and my guess is that this whole weekend is historically low on the tv ratings. I think that is why the NFL always starts the weekend after Labor day weekend.
