I like it but then I always like You tube compilations. I do have a good feeling that he will be a good signing though in the same way I felt about Torres. he looks quick and strong, two essential elements for playing in the prem.

Yeah I really think he is going to be great for us. He is a very intelligent player who knows what passes to make in the final 3rd and despite his scoring record he isnt afraid to have a pop at goal. I just hope we can still maintain the rest of our game in Xabis absence.
Overall I am happy with this signing.

rafa likes his defensive midfielder sitters to much to only have 2 in the squad (mascher and lucas)

85k a week. That's a lot of wonga!!!!
Still they seem sad enough and the way they talk of him it could be as if we lost Stevie. I am confident he will do well so long as he stays injury free. People here are going OTT with his injury history.
New league, new manager, could be a whole different ball game. And before you know it mick will be starting a "I know it's early but.....that Aquilani is boss!"

Bav - in the "Xabi's replacement" thread, he was your 4th choice (see page 5 half-way down).
HERE
Would you have prefered the others?

think its a risky signing bav but most of them are these days unless as been stated you get fabregas but that would never happen . can hope he does well and adds a great deal to the team

(I really hope we dont ask that question too often with him)
