Roma are willing to consider offers for Italian playmaker Alberto Aquilani.

Aquilani has been a reported target of Liverpool, with the Reds looking for a possible replacement for Real Madrid target Xabi Alonso.

When asked about Aquilani, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti said: "We need to be open and listen to any type of offers that are proposed to us.

"We are not worried, we know what we need to do.

"There will probably be two or three transfer market deals done and I am convinced we will be able to work well."

Roma director Bruno Conti revealed neither Liverpool nor any other club had made an offer for Aquilani.

"The situation as it is right now is that Aquilani will remain until there is a squad that makes an offer," Conti said to Mediaset.

"Once this happens then we will see."

Aquilani, 25, is under contract with the Eternal City outfit until June 2013.

A right ankle injury limited Aquilani to only 14 league appearances for the Giallorossi last season.

There is better, but its all about the $$$$$.

I think Rafa is still kinds having to shop in Tesco, rather than Marks and Spencers... (better than the blue sh|ye who are shopping in Aldi though :p )
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Liverpool boss Benitez keen on Kitoko versatility
17.07.09 | tribalfootball.com
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez admires the versatility of Albacete youngster Ritchie Kitoko.

The Daily Mail says Kitoko likes to sit in front of back four but can also play wide right. Has been mentioned to Liverpool scouts and he may be a cheap option to boost squad numbers should they lose one or two star midfielders.

Born in Congo but has Belgian second nationality which would qualify him to play in England.

you spend far too much time on tribalfootball and goal.com, not to mention here...
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
