Mick . at some point just about everybody has criticised the manager, admittedly some have gone on to make a career out of it and I guess those are the ones (for those that can be bothered to take any notice) that have come to be known as "Anti's.

I asked the question about fences because I resent you assuming that I sit on a particular side of any said fence, particularly when it just so happens you place me on the opposite side from banned members, the inference being that thier politics being different from mine influenced my (and other mods) decision when it came to issuing cards or bans.

Look at some high profile examples.
PeeWee, banned allowed back in then banned again, his banning had nothing to do with him being pro or anti , if you don't already know the reasons , ask s@int, he'll fill you in, even he feels PeeWee deserves a life ban for what he's been up to.

Stu, banned christ knows how many times allowed back in on several occasions, but was never banned because he was pro or anti, more through sheer volume of complaints received about his stinking attitude, one that was forcing other members to quit the forum

Barry, banned allowed back in banned again allowed back in currently on four cards and none of them issued because the mods thought he was too pro or anti

Lando, banned allowed back in , currently on four cards and more than likely to earn himself another which will bring a ban, but again not because the mods consider him to be pro or anti.

GBJH (aka Bill and several other alias') Self admitted WUM, good old bill mad about lfc here for a laugh and a bit of mischief even a wind up in the hillsborough thread was ok in his book. Well think on. Again, banned and not because he was pro or anti.

Think yer might be seeing a pattern here Mick ?
clue , people aren't carded or banned because thier poitics may differ from mine or indeed other mods.

FACT.

I don't want to get into ANOTHER argument with you woof but , shouldn't you be banned for disclosing what was in a personal message  :D

Seriously, Lando and Barry have been on 4 cards for a while now, their "style" of posting is still full of abuse, and I am pretty sure if they had been on one or two cards rather than four, their posts since would have got them many more cards.

I appreciate you don't want to ban them, but what is the point of giving them four cards if after that they are given carte blanch to continue their abusive ways?

Why, because without me and Barry you would have no-one to dig up your stats from the Manchester Utd website for, dear boy...

Just stating the truth mate, you know it just as well as anyone. You haven't toned down the abuse since you got your cards, yet miraculously the fifth card hasn't arrived.

You used to be a laugh, and I know you are a decent bloke but its started getting a bit much now mate.

If they had applied the same rules now as they did when you got your other cards you know as well as me that you would have been banned some while ago.... true?

Like I said I can understand their reluctance, but what is the point of giving ANYONE 4 cards if after that they turn a blind eye and give them carte blanche to do as they please?

I would summise that I will indeed receive the much maligned "5th Card" eventually - should I ever explore the depths of your friends Peewee and Bam.

Mine is a higher class of insult, you see. It may involve disgusting terms and promises sexual violence, but it is never at the ridicule of an ill person, or disrespectful to those with disabilities.

Only a cup of vegetable soup would consider my abuse to be intended with serious malice.

And that, dear boy, is the difference.

The problem is Lando that as soon as you start with the abuse, other people take umbridge and feel the need to reciprocate in kind. This then leads to further insults and another thread is ruined and another flame war has begun.

Surely you can accept that others have the right to different opinions than your own, so why not just state your opinion about the topic raised rather than the poster?

No one objects to you questioning the reasons behind their opinions, but most object to being told to "rape a goat" or questions about their sexual activities.

I took exception to what was said to me. I suggest you study the entire dialogue of both parties before settling upon a theorem.

It is utterly futile to enter into a discussion about anything including football, if you are not prepared to accept the fact that occasionally people will have a different view to your own. In that sense I agree with you. It ceases to be a "discussion" at that point, it simply becomes an exercise in insults, posturing and silliness.

Also, if you don't know anything about a subject sometimes it's better to not get involved.

One has no issue with accepting a differing standpoint provided it is not in some way derogatory toward the subject. When people make sweeping generalisations about the manager one takes issue with them. When people with an obvious dearth of intellect attempt to condescend, one becomes riled.

Quite simply, members need to learn to show respect to the team and it's incumbents if they desire this reverie for themselves. A poster that labels Kuyt "Rafa's c*ck sucker", or the manager a "f*cking idiot" then, the moment one posts, scurries off to the moderators - tail twixt legs - is a hypocrite.

I would be extremely disappointed were it to become apparent you failed to acknowledge that between us there was ne'er an ill word spoken for many a fashion, until your appraisals of Benitez fell below your previously rationalised standards. We oft disagreed, but it was almost entirely civilised. I trust you are aware of your failure to feel the full force of my vocabularious spectacles? That others have is pure accentuation of the certitude that your own literary labels fall short of your more foolhardy peers.

So unto one's own summarisation. The assuagement you crave will only be unearthed should you espouse the very supposition you exhort.

paul mate. you cannot have it both ways!!

if someone has a different view to you then by essence its gonna be derogotory to your view. an opinion is based on what that person feels it to be. if that makes them angry about the manager or not, then thats their right.
you cant go a crusade and try and crush every bad word that maybe said about the manager.

Discussion has and always will have things in it you dont like. but you must be man enough to accept that. Have your own view on the manager and stick to that mate. thats good for discussion, but allow whoever to vent their frustration about the manager in their own way, as thats how they see it !!

One begs to differ, Judge. "Rafa is a f*cking idiotic fat Spanish waiter" has no grounding in fact, save for the reference to his weight. It is not a differing opinion, but a personal attack on the manager.

"One does not rate Rafa, as..." would represent the opening line of a differing opinion.

If the more sensitive souls amongst us spend their lives praying for the day one responds to their literature with respect, perhaps they, too, might afford the manager and his acquisitions the same courtesy in return.

One harbours serious doubt.

Ive been a good girl since the season finished, so I dont really know what your talking about.

It does'nt matter,he obviously just does not like you!lol

Apparently me and Lando deserved banned too according to Saint Guevara, internet forum revolutionary and part time attorney for tw@ts!

Whats worse, someone that deserves the odd card here and there or fuc'king tw@ts that constantly complain he/she should be banned?

The image of a footballer running to a ref in football, imaginary card in hand asking another player to be carded springs to mind!Ugly.
Mike Riley he was naughty,my mate got carded for a similar offence last week..blah blah blah......grow a set of balls, sometimes lifes not fair!

The forum is away to fu,ck with people trying to change rules and suggest what the mods should and should'nt do.I appreciate some people have nothing else to do than log on here from they get up in the morning till they go to bed 24/7...Get a dog and walk it,go have a McDonalds, have a jog or a fanta!

I just cant understand that people moan so much about how the forum is,how so many deserve banned and how it all needs to change then spend all their free time on here...they must be sadists if its soooo painful!
Its practically every thread now!

IF I WAS A MOD!! :D
Id ban the constant whingers and maybe the place could be good again!
*** Constant whingers***..i mean constant whingers..it does not matter which side of Micks imaginary fence the reside,if they like Kuyt or hate him are a Babelite or not,or if they are in the pro Rafa camp or anti!
Regardless of which imaginary pigeonhole they are in..just tw@ts that fuc'king moan all the time!

At the end of the day,yes I will admit I have been a kunt at times,so Im sure would Lando! But its becoming painful to log on here and watch grown men cry like babies because its everything is not the way they want it..

If it does'nt suit your taste FU'CK OFF!!

BTW I like the forum as it is(Most of the time) and Im sure most do too!It is better when the footy is on though!
