CGI is ONLY good when it's used with subtlety and when it remains within the physical possiblities of real life. unfortunately, film makers haven't quite cottoned on to that yet.

BTW, like T2, I also thought 300 was pretty awful. Could have been great though.

We'll have to cancel our night at the flicks Bav!   :D

The A Team:

Face: Bradley Cooper (From the hangover and a few otehrs, not a bad actor)
Hannibal: Bruce Willis (Allegedly)
BA: Common (Allegedly)
Murdoch: Woody Harrelson (Allegedly)

300 was good but as I said the original story didn't have much substance to it. That's why they had to add all those monsters and bend the story a bit to keep viewers interested. But the action sequences visually were very stunning, plus a killer soundtrack. The OST is one of my favourate work out albums. haha

Gonna keep this all short and sweet its quite a few movies i've seen lately.

Up: Great overall film 9/10 had a very good story to it and the boy and dog are just too cute really.  Pretty sad too surprisingly for a kids movie.

Terminator Salvation: 7/10 It had amazing action in it at times but it was held back too often by a bad script and just not presented the right way I guess.

Eden Lake: 9/10 What a :censored: up movie, I finally got around to seeing it its definitely worth a watch but christ.

My Bloody Valentine: 7.5/10 Was a pretty solid film even though it sounds pretty cheesy from the name.

Drag Me To Hell: ?/10 If you enjoyed Evil Dead, Army of the Dead or Army of Darkness you will enjoy this, otherwise steer clear of it imo.

The Hangover: 9.5/10  Freakin hilarious. The funniest movie I have seen in a long time.

You're forgetting that Ridley Scott is involved with that, so it should turn out decent.

Some things should not be tampered with and the A team is one of them, let the classic be remembered for what it was say I!! :D

Oh and why the fuc'k cant the bast'ards in Holywood make GOOD ORIGINAL movies anymore??The majority they churn out is cr@p!
I guess remaking a classic with a big cast is easy money though...and they are obviously more interested than making ££ than doing something original!! :nod

is the day the earth stood still any good?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
