dont care about the price, just get the kunt out of this country

they're in debt as well, wouldnt be surprised if they only spend a quarter of the fee they receive and whoever they get, its a step down. He certainly wont be replaced in the first season hes gone.

Tuncay will be our big signing this summer if we don't get rid of the yanks . AS for joaquin a couple of seasons ago he would have been a dead cert , now i'm not so sure . He's if anything gone backwards , not the player he once was

Id be quite happy with Tuncay. Technically very gifted, more so than the likes of Babel and Kuyt. Joauqin might not be as big a player as he was a few years ago but mate if we are going to be looking for bargain basement he might not be a bad shout considering at one time he was well rated and Rafa did want to bring him here. We just couldn't afford him then. I would rather Rafa take a punt on him rather than bring in someone else unknown.

Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their interest in Swedish striker Marcus Berg according to reports in Holland.

Rafa Benitez is set to add to his striking options this summer after letting Robbie Keane return to Tottenham in the winter transfer window and Berg is now the favourite to fill the void.

Berg has attracted the interest of Ajax and Fiorentina but is thought to favour a move to the Premiership with Dutch club Groningen willing to let their prize asset leave for around 12 million euros.

The Groningen striker scored 15 goals in 25 games in his debut season in the Dutch Eredivisie last year. The 22-year-old has impressed again this season with 17 goals in 30 games and this form has convinced Benitez to table an official offer with Groningen in an attempt to avoid a bidding war with other clubs.

Benitez has also been linked with moves for Luis Suarez of Ajax and Edin Džeko who currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga.

Looks like Rafa will have some serious competition if he wants Dzeko.

Please tell me you are joking?

There's more to Liverpool than that.

We don't want his sort here...

How much would macicon cost from Inter Milan? Hes a cracking right back and if hes 'available' for offers which he syas he is then can we afford him?

Also Dzeko and Grafite? I know both are in demand and are valued highly by Wolfsburg but how much would they cost us and how would people see them doing in England?! I havent seen mush of either of them but they're form this year has been sensational. Dzeko will be expensive because of his age but perhaps Grafite could be approachable?

Some rumours doing the rounds about Lennon coming and Babel going the otherway.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

dunno what to say about that one. Suppose Lennon's been one of Tottenham's standouts lately so potentially its a good deal if he sticks to that standard. If not its just average player for average player IMO
