maybe this whole money saga is rafa's plan.....
he has made it look like we have no money to spend.
but then out of nowhere he gives us tevez, messi, and everyone we dreamed for!

I havent read any of the news about Tevez signing for Man City but Redcafe are fairly convinced its going to happen, its not official tho I dont think

What's happening is they are getting stronger with big names. It will be a big ask for Rafa to even repeat what we done this season let alone win it next year if we cannot bring in equal quality.

Let them all have high profile teams.. Didnt chelsea spend 16 million on a right back last season? didnt chelsea spend 200 million over th course of 3 or 4 seasons.. Didnt united buy a 30 million :censored:

last season.. I would be very happy if we retain our squad and make one master stroke in the market..IMO thats enough for us to win the league

yeah.. thats kind of the problem...

When Chelsea spent 200 million they won the league twice!

And I think you'll find that Man U are the current league Champions???

Teams in the top 4 get stronger every year, we cannot afford to stand still while Man U, Chelsea and the likes bring in stronger players and we may well, if you read the gutter press, lose some of our best players...

RAFA RESPONDS TO LAVEZZI RUMOURS

Rafa Benitez has dismissed reports Liverpool want to sign Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Speculation linking the Argentine with a move to Anfield has been fuelled by the player's agent over the last few days.

Benitez, though, is adamant no deal is in the pipeline.

"We never contacted Lavezzi and we have no intention of doing so," he said. "We want to put a stop to these rumours."
